What the Collective is, in one paragraph
The Rhiz Collective is a 777 member founding cohort launching May 9, 2026. It is the first cohort product built on Rhiz Protocol. Membership includes a Voice Awareness Session that produces your Prescient Report, a 77 day structured arc of rhythm and reflection, verified cohort-rooted Connections, and a permanent founding position in the originating cohort of the protocol. The founding cohort pairs Seekers in their 20s with Pivotters in deliberate life transitions.
Everything downstream in this article is a longer version of that paragraph.
Why 777
Seven hundred seventy seven is not a vanity number. It is chosen deliberately, and the reasoning has three parts.
It is small enough to stay a cohort
Above a certain size, a bounded group starts behaving like an open network. The Misalignment Tax reappears, shared vocabulary fragments, rituals drift, and the trust edges stop meaning what they meant earlier. The literature on group coherence puts this collapse point in the mid-thousands for most structures. 777 is comfortably below that ceiling.
It is large enough to have a real graph
At too-small sizes, a cohort graph is dense but thin. Any two members have short paths between them, but the graph itself carries little information. The minute you look for second-order coordination, the graph is exhausted. 777 is the size at which second-order coordination becomes possible, which is where cohort-based Connection starts compounding.
It is a ceiling that forces discipline
Hard ceilings are underrated. A 777 ceiling is a structural commitment that forces the founding cohort to matter. It prevents the lazy move of letting membership grow to absorb demand. Root Alpha is 777. Cohort two, when it happens, will be something else, likely with its own name and its own bounded size.
None of this is mystical. 777 is just the size at which the cohort still behaves like a cohort and the graph is substantive. That is all the math that is required.
Root Alpha: the founding cohort
The Collective's first 777 member cohort is called Root Alpha. It is the originating cohort of Rhiz Protocol. Every Root Alpha member holds a permanent position inside that cohort, which is referenced by the protocol, recorded in the event log, and visible in the graph.
This matters in two ways.
First, founding cohort position compounds over time. As the protocol grows, as more sovereign brands are built on it, as more cohorts form downstream, Root Alpha members remain the originating edge. That is a durable graph position.
Second, Root Alpha shapes the culture of everything that comes after. The vocabulary, the rhythm, the expectations inside Root Alpha become the reference for later cohorts. Being in the first cohort means being in the cohort that writes the unwritten rules.
Who the Collective is for
The Collective's founding cohort is architected around two archetypes, paired deliberately.
Seekers: people in their 20s navigating ambition, identity, and purpose with intent. Their 20s are a coordination problem, and solo seeking fails because the inputs that sharpen direction come from other people on a similar arc.
Pivotters: people in deliberate life transitions, including career shifts, identity changes, and mission pivots. Their pivots compound inside a cohort and evaporate alone.
The pairing is load-bearing. Seekers bring directional energy. Pivotters bring accumulated context. Together they compound faster than either group would in isolation. An all-Seeker cohort would reinforce the confusion. An all-Pivotter cohort would over-deliberate.
Read the Seeker hub and the Pivotter hub for the full archetypes. If either fits, the Collective is likely right for you.
The 77 day arc
The structured first 77 days of membership follow a rhythm:
- A Voice Awareness Session at onboarding, producing your Prescient Report.
- Weekly reflection prompts calibrated against your Report.
- Coordination asks that route through cohort context rather than broadcast.
- Cohort-rooted Connections with other members, verified and consented.
- Artifact-producing rituals at milestone days, so the arc produces outputs rather than just consumption.
The 77 day arc is a frame, not a course. Member pace varies. What is consistent is the rhythm and the structural inputs. By the end of the 77 days, a member has a richer Prescient Report, a meaningful set of Connections, and a position inside the graph that will keep compounding.
Pricing
Membership is designed so the financial commitment does not filter on income-adjacent signal rather than fit signal.
- Individual membership: $77 per year or $11.11 per month. Both options grant identical membership. The choice is cadence preference, not tier.
- Sponsor tier: $777, which sponsors 10 additional cohort members, includes individual attention from the team, and grants lifetime access to this and all future Rhiz platforms.
Pricing is held deliberately accessible at the individual level. The Sponsor tier exists for people who want to sponsor others into the cohort and anchor themselves in the graph at a higher weight.
Why May 9
May 9, 2026 is the launch date for the Collective. It is the earliest date at which the protocol primitives, the onboarding surface, and the cohort mechanics are all production ready, and it is tight against a revenue window that allowed the Collective to be pulled forward from June 1.
Nothing about the May 9 date is arbitrary. It is the first date at which the product can sustain 777 founding members without the invariants breaking. Launching earlier would have compromised the primitives. Launching later would have delayed compounding.
After Root Alpha
Root Alpha is the first cohort, not the only cohort. Additional cohorts will follow. Additional sovereign brands will build on Rhiz Protocol. The cross-brand graph is where the protocol's long-term moat lives.
For a Root Alpha member, that means founding position inside an expanding ecosystem. The 777 is the originating cohort, not the only room.
