Mission

Restoring relatives. Healing communities.

Restoring Relatives supports the re-entry, recovery, healing, and wellness of tribal members and their families who have been impacted by incarceration and multigenerational trauma. The work builds positive life skills through restorative, cultural, and traditional practices.

How the work holds together

A continuum of support grounded in relationship.

01

Approach

Restorative practice

Accountability and repairing harm are held alongside community support and the possibility of restoration.

02

Approach

Cultural and traditional practices

Cultural knowledge and traditional practice are part of the work, not an add-on to it.

03

Focus

Family restoration

Services make space for the social, psychological, cultural, and family needs that shape a successful return home.
