COPAL partners across cultures to protect heritage, build sustainable opportunity, and honor Indigenous wisdom.
In collaboration with Luz Barbosa and passionate Colombian youth, COPAL supports initiatives aimed at upscaling and recycling clothing to make it more affordable and accessible to communities. By promoting sustainable fashion practices, this partnership provides economic opportunities and fosters environmental consciousness, contributing to a more equitable and environmentally sustainable future.
In collaboration with Joel LaFrance of the Mohawk Nation (Kanien'keha:ka) in upstate New York, COPAL works toward the preservation and revitalization of Indigenous culture and traditions. We support initiatives that promote cultural resilience, language preservation, and community empowerment, striving to contribute to the ongoing cultural survival and prosperity of Indigenous communities in the region.
Teaming up with Santiago Alonso and organizations dedicated to cultural survival and preservation in Mexico, COPAL celebrates and protects Indigenous traditions and heritage. We honor and uphold the rich cultural diversity of Mexico, incorporating elements of traditional wisdom and practice into our programs and contributing to the preservation of cultural identity for generations to come.
