Six-Mailbox Support Rebuild After RV Impact
A roadside mailbox structure serving six mailboxes was destroyed after being struck by an RV. The replacement was rebuilt from solid pressure-treated lumber and anchored with a deep concrete foundation.

The original wood support was knocked over and heavily damaged. It carried six individual mailboxes, so the replacement needed a long, rigid horizontal span and strong roadside anchoring.

Rebuild scope
Removed, rebuilt, set in concrete.
Removed and assessed the damaged support
Rebuilt the structure using solid pressure-treated lumber
Dug replacement supports approximately 3 feet deep
Set the support in a concrete foundation
Built the frame to carry six mailboxes
Finished result: the rebuilt support uses two pressure-treated posts, each set approximately 3 feet deep in its own concrete footing. The damaged original structure was removed completely before rebuilding. Comparable rebuilds would normally be scoped as roughly 1 to 2 working days of field labor, excluding concrete cure time and unusual site conditions.
